Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles Guide | Current M-B Regulation

Ranked Season M-4 runs from July 8 at 02:00 UTC through August 5, 2026, at 01:59 UTC. It uses Regulation M-B, which remains in effect through September 2, 2026.

Regulation and season are different:

• Regulation M-B decides which Pokémon and forms are legal.
• Ranked season decides the current ladder, ranking period, and rewards.
• A new season can begin while Regulation M-B stays unchanged.

Before Your First Match

1. Choose two reliable leads.
2. Mark which Pokémon protects, redirects attacks, or controls Speed.
3. Decide which Pokémon should finish the battle.
4. Check the six slots in the Team Builder.
5. Test one important matchup in the Damage Calculator.
6. Open Battle Data to check current moves, items, teammates, and rankings.

During A Match

• Check which side is faster before selecting an attack.
• Keep your finisher healthy while its best target is still in play.
• Change the plan when the opponent's lead changes the matchup.
• Do not copy the same first turn into every battle.

After A Match

Record one main reason for the result:

• Team problem: the team had no reliable answer to a common threat.
• Lead problem: the opening pair created a poor first turn.
• Turn problem: the correct option existed but was not selected.

After three losses, stop and look for a repeated pattern. Change only one slot or move before testing again, so you can tell whether the change helped.

Battle Pass And Rewards

The M-4 Battle Pass runs alongside the ranked season through August 5. The regular pass includes Sceptile and Sceptilite; the Premium Battle Pass includes Blaziken, Swampert, and their Mega Stones. Progress and claimed rewards still depend on the player account, so check the in-game Battle Pass screen before purchasing or claiming anything.

Data Freshness

The live Singles and Doubles boards use the latest available source snapshot and are synchronized to Supabase every day. The page also keeps a dated local fallback so it still works if the live service is unavailable. The source generated the currently reviewed snapshot on July 28, 2026.

When To Start Ranked

Start when you can name your usual lead, Speed plan, and finisher without opening another guide. You do not need a perfect team; you need a simple plan that you understand.
