July 28, 2026 status check

• The July Monthly Challenge has ended. It used Single Battles under Regulation M-B.
• Eligible players can claim Mawile, 100 Quick Coupons, and the MCS 07/2026 Challenger title after checking the posted ranking results in game.
• Ranked Battles Season M-4 and Regulation M-B remain current; no official Season M-5 announcement has been published.

July 24, 2026

• The official Regulation M-B Double Battles overview reviewed the current metagame, leading Pokémon, major archetypes, and playable Battle Team IDs.

July 13-15, 2026

• Official strategy articles were published for Mega Malamar, Mega Raichu X, and Mega Mawile.
• The 2027 Championship Series update added new schedules, Championship Point rules, age divisions, device policy, and qualification information.

July 8, 2026

• Version 1.1.4 fixed unspecified bugs.
• Ranked Battles Season M-4 began and continues to use Regulation M-B through August 5.
• Battle Pass M-4 added Sceptile to the regular pass and Blaziken and Swampert to the Premium Battle Pass, together with their Mega Stones.

• Pokemon Champions launched on iOS and Android with cross-platform play.
• Regulation Set M-B began.
• Registration opened for the June 2026 Monthly Challenge Series.

The Indianapolis Regional Championships became the first live official Championship Series event to use Pokemon Champions as its exclusive VGC platform.

April 8, 2026
