Sneasler Kingambit Core | Pokemon Champions Doubles Team Guide

Sneasler
Fake Out, Feint, fast pressure
Kingambit
Priority cleanup and punishment
Incineroar
Pivot, Fake Out, Intimidate
Amoonguss
Redirection and sleep pressure
Easy Plan
Sneasler is the fast starter. Kingambit is the strong finisher. Do not throw Kingambit away too early.
Sneasler pushes the first turn with Fake Out or Feint. Kingambit waits until the board is chipped, then cleans with priority pressure.
Start Fast
Sneasler creates the first threat.
Break Protect
Feint punishes obvious defense.
Save Kingambit
Keep the closer healthy.
Clean Late
Finish after chip damage.
This is a good first aggressive core because the plan is easy to explain: make the opponent nervous immediately, then save your strongest cleaner for the ending.
Simple Game Plan
| Turn | What You Want | Easy Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Team preview | Find the Pokemon that stops Kingambit. | Do not let the enemy keep their best answer for free. |
| Turn 1 | Use Sneasler pressure to win one small trade. | Fake Out, Feint, or attack the target that cannot be allowed to move. |
| Middle turns | Pivot with Incineroar or protect Kingambit. | The finisher should not take random damage. |
| Endgame | Bring Kingambit in when enemies are chipped. | Now priority and strong attacks become scary. |
Good Partners
| Partner | Why It Helps |
|---|---|
| Incineroar | Gives a second Fake Out, pivot turns, and Intimidate support. |
| Amoonguss | Redirects attacks and can force slow, safe turns. |
| Flutter Mane | Adds special pressure so the team is not all physical. |
| Garchomp | Adds spread damage and threatens fire/electric/steel targets depending on set. |
Common Mistakes
- Bringing Kingambit too early just because it looks strong.
- Using Protect automatically when Feint pressure is already obvious.
- Building six physical attackers and then losing to burns or Intimidate.
- Forgetting that fast pressure still needs a defensive switch.
What Beats It
Burns, strong special attackers, smart Intimidate cycling, and redirection can slow this core down. If the opponent clearly wants to protect and switch until Sneasler is gone, punish the support Pokemon first.
