Six-Slot Structure

Slot Role Notes
1 Main attacker Simple damage button.
2 Bulky attacker Trades well into neutral matchups.
3 Speed control Helps the main attacker move first.
4 Support Protects setup or disrupts enemies.
5 Defensive pivot Switches into common attacks.
6 Meta answer Changes based on current tier list.

Lead Plan

Start with main attacker plus support when unsure. Change leads only after identifying a repeated problem.

Build It Without Guessing Names

  1. Open Team Builder and choose a Pokemon you already understand.
  2. Add one Pokemon that controls speed or protects the first pick.
  3. Check the red weakness warnings before filling the remaining slots.
  4. Open each Pokemon card only when you need its stats, Ability, or moves.

Ready Check

The team is ready for a test when you can answer three questions: who starts, who keeps the plan safe, and who finishes. If one answer is missing, fix that role before changing the whole team.
